Intesa Sanpaolo advisor to F2i in the sale of 40% of Iren Acqua to Ireti

Intesa Sanpaolo, through its IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, assisted F2i as financial advisor in the finalisation of the sale of 40% of Iren Acqua, which it held through its funds, to Ireti, wholly owned by Iren.

Iren Acqua is the company already 60% owned by Ireti, an Iren Group company that manages the integrated water service in 39 municipalities in the Upper Genoa area.

The transaction allows Ireti to own 100% of the company and will allow the merger of Iren Acqua into Ireti, resulting in a significant rationalisation of costs and greater operational efficiency.

Intesa Sanpaolo thus confirms its status as a strategic partner of entrepreneurial entities in their growth and consolidation processes.
