Milan, 6 July 2007 – Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., Mediobanca S.p.A. and Sintonia S.A. communicate that today the Bundeskartellamt, the German Antitrust Authority, has approved the transaction through which the Investors will indirectly acquire the 23,6% of the ordinary share capital of Telecom Italia S.p.A., in accordance with the agreements subscribed on 28th of April.
